Johnsmas Cup - Round Trondra Yoal Rowing Race

Where: Pier at Cutts, Trondra and Trondra Public Hall
A team based rowing race using traditional design Shetland yoal’s, which will follow a course around the isle of Trondra on Shetland’s Westside.
No pre-booking is required, but entry is limited to clubs affiliated to the Shetland Yoal Rowing Association.
Yoals will be launched from the East Voe Marina in Scalloway, with the women’s race commencing at 6.30pm followed by the men’s race on completion of the women’s event. The best viewing point for this race will be the Burra bridge.
The Johnsmas Cup will be awarded to the winning yoal.
The cup presentation and supper will be held in the Trondra Public Hall after the event.
