Lerwick Mid-Summer Carnival

Where: Lerwick
A colourful and vibrant parade of floats, jarl squads, foot collectors and much more will commence at 6.30pm from the Lower Hillhead, Lerwick before proceeding via St Olaf Street to King Harald St. Here the procession will remain stationary for 30 minutes to allow for judging to take place, before moving off again and winding its way along Commercial Road to the completion point of the carnival route on Lerwick’s Esplanade.
The event is held to raise funds for the Callum Younger Reach Fund, which was set up in memory of Callum to assist young people, aged 18 and under, to achieve their goals in life.
