Simmer Dim Shetland Half Marathon

The 'Simmer Dim' Shetland half-marathon (13.1 miles) starts at the Cunnigsburgh Hall at 11.00am and follows a southward, clockwise loop of Cunningsburgh before rejoining the main road back into Lerwick, finishing at the Clickimin Leisure Complex. The official prize-giving will take place at the Clickimin Leisure Complex at 2.30pm, with all runners also receiving a medal.
The race is open to Scottish Athletics members and is run to UK Athletics rules. There are four individual categories: senior men and women and veteran men and women. In addition, there is also a team event. All entrants must be over 18 years of age.
Spectators are welcome along the route.
