Sjøassistanse Bergen-Shetland Yacht Race

Where: Victoria Pier, Lerwick
The Sjøassistanse Bergen-Shetland Races are ocean races between Bergen, in the Hordaland region of Western Norway, and Lerwick, capital of Shetland.
Race 1 is 194 nautical miles from Bergen to Lerwick. The yachts will leave Bergen at 13.00hrs (local time) on Wednesday 24th June, with the first yachts expected to arrive in Lerwick harbour (weather permitting) on Thursday 25th June. Race 2 is the return leg from Lerwick to Bergen which commences at 11am (local time) on Sunday 28th June.
While in Lerwick the yachts will be berthed at Lerwick's Victoria Pier and are available for pier-side viewing (no public admission to vessels).
